Terms & Conditions

"ClearFox" refers to the software product, services, and documentation provided by ClearFox ("we", "us", "our").

"Customer" refers to the individual or organization that purchases a license to use ClearFox ("you", "your").

"License Key" refers to the unique activation key provided upon purchase that enables the use of ClearFox.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ClearFox on your own infrastructure for your internal business purposes.

The license is limited to the number of users specified in your subscription plan. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute ClearFox or any part thereof.

ClearFox is deployed on your own servers or cloud infrastructure. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security, availability, and proper configuration of your hosting environment.

We do not have access to your data. All data processed by ClearFox remains on your infrastructure under your control.

ClearFox requires API keys from third-party providers (e.g., Anthropic for AI capabilities). You are responsible for obtaining and managing these API keys and complying with the respective third-party terms of service.

We are not responsible for costs, usage limits, or policy changes imposed by third-party API providers.

ClearFox periodically connects to our license server to validate your License Key. An active internet connection is required for initial activation and periodic validation.

A grace period of 72 hours is provided for temporary network outages. If the license cannot be validated after this period, access to ClearFox may be suspended until connectivity is restored.

We do not collect, store, or process any of your business data. The only information transmitted to our servers is your License Key for validation purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ClearFox complies with applicable data protection laws and regulations (including GDPR, CCPA, and similar legislation).

ClearFox connects to third-party business tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, Google Analytics) using credentials you provide. We do not store or transmit these credentials beyond your self-hosted installation.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of integrations complies with the terms of service of the respective third-party platforms.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble ClearFox
• Share or transfer your License Key to unauthorized parties
• Use ClearFox in any way that violates applicable laws
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Attempt to circumvent license validation or usage limits

Your subscription includes access to software updates and bug fixes during the subscription period. Support is provided via email at sales@clearfox.ai.

We reserve the right to modify features and functionality in future updates. Major version upgrades may require a separate license.

ClearFox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

In no event shall our liability exceed the amount paid by you for the license in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of ClearFox and delete all copies from your infrastructure.

You may terminate your subscription at any time. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the ClearFox portal. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
